Introduction: Broiler is a very common livestock in daily life. The price of chicken in the market has been relatively stable, especially in recent years, with the rise of various fried chicken shops, the market demand for broiler is also increasing, more and more Many people started raising chickens. I believe that many people have eaten chickens, but only a few people know how to raise chickens. Who has raised chickens? We know that the hatching of chicks is the first and most critical step in raising chickens. Modern chicken raising has passed the Large-scale hatching of chickens has greatly improved work efficiency. However, in the process of hatching chicks, there are four key points that need our attention. Let's take a look.
1. Warm the eggs
Before breeding broilers, the first thing to do is to preheat the eggs. According to research, the best choice for the eggs is 40 grams, which can ensure the quality of the seedlings. Before entering the incubator to prepare the eggs, the eggs should be transferred to a room of 23-26 degrees. Within about 7 hours, this not only can effectively remove the water vapor on the surface of the eggs, but also when the surface temperature of the eggs rises to the optimum, they can be hatched.
2. Constant temperature
Appropriate temperature is the primary condition for broiler embryo development. when hatching. The temperature must be controlled very stable, and there should be no sudden rise or low temperature, resulting in a large temperature difference, but the temperature is not static. Under normal circumstances, the incubation period of broilers is about 3 weeks. The temperature in the first week is controlled at 38-39°C, the second week is best controlled at around 38°C, and the temperature drops slightly on the 15th-18th day, at 37.5-38°C. Between 37.3 and 37.5℃in the last few days is the most suitable temperature for embryonic development.
3. Control humidity
After ensuring the temperature is stable, the humidity should also be considered and controlled. In the early stage of hatching, the embryos can be heated evenly, which is more conducive to better heat dissipation, and the hatching is in the middle and late stages. The principle of humidity control and temperature control is basically the same, one is that there cannot be a big drop, and the other is that the humidity cannot be changed. Generally speaking, the humidity under normal conditions should be kept between 60%-70% in the first week of chick incubation, and 55%-60% in the second week of chick incubation, so it can be appropriately increased in the last week. Humidity, and keep it at 65%~70%, is more conducive to the hatching of chicks.
4. Ensure ventilation
During the development of broiler embryos, attention should be paid to the exchange of gases with the outside world, especially in the late incubation period, when the embryo begins to breathe through the lungs, the demand for oxygen is great, and the production of carbon dioxide will also increase. At this time, if the oxygen Insufficient, high carbon dioxide concentration will cause embryo suffocation and cause great damage to the interests of farmers. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure the oxygen demand during embryo development, maintain good ventilation, timely ventilation, and maintain fresh air in the house. .
