At present, most rabbit farmers and rabbit farms are still in a state of extensive management with concentrated labor, but some rabbit industry people have made great strides on the road of large-scale automation. The following landlord takes the liberty to talk about several hardware conditions for large-scale automated rabbit raising, and hope that the rabbit friends will give criticism and correction.
One, full price pellets. This condition has nothing to do with the scale and can be achieved by every rabbit farmer.
Second, automatic drinking water. The advantages are labor-saving, hygienic drinking water, and the leakage board is not easy to get wet.
Three, closed production box (separation of mother and child). The dark environment of the closed farrowing box is more likely to attract female rabbits into farrowing and reduce the intensity of care. Apart from the time-consuming separation of mother and child, it is easy to observe the feeding situation of young rabbits, reduces the probability of mother-to-child disease, and avoids the damage of mother rabbits to contaminate the birthing nest.
Fourth, ventilation and cooling mechanization. Summer is the most difficult season for rabbits. The application of wet curtain fan system or water air conditioner can effectively reduce the adverse effects of high temperature on rabbits.
Fifth, manure cleaning automation. The rabbit cage with the character character or the high-slope dung board rabbit cage can make the rabbit dung automatically enter the dung channel, and the scraper dung cleaning machine or the conveyor belt can remove the dung in the dung channel to the outside of the rabbit house.
Sixth, artificial insemination. Artificial insemination is a necessary condition for realizing batch production, which saves labor and is easy to sell at high prices. Artificial insemination also has the advantages of saving male rabbit feed, increasing the utilization rate of high-quality male rabbits, and reducing the spread of diseases between males and females.
Seven, automatic feeding. This should be one of the most difficult goals of modern rabbit raising. I've heard of some rabbit farms with automatic feeding equipment that have ended up abandoning the equipment.
The first three conditions are relatively easy to implement and do not need to be large. And the last four conditions, there is no certain scale, considering the cost, it is not necessary. The landlord's rabbit farm has just started, and only has the first three conditions. But I believe: Rabbit raising will slowly enter the era of low profit, only large-scale rabbit raising can survive, and automation is a necessary condition for large-scale rabbit raising. If we fall behind on the road to scale automation, we will be eliminated.
