1. Feeding equipment

The feeding trough is the main equipment in the pig pen, and the appropriate feeding trough should be selected according to the feeding form (mechanized feeding or manual feeding). The shape of the feed trough must be properly designed, otherwise it will affect the feeding of the pigs.

For the limited feeding of boars, pregnant sows, and lactating sows, steel troughs or cement troughs are generally used. These troughs are simple in structure and low in cost, but need to be cleaned frequently.

For nursery pigs, growing pigs, and fattening pigs that are fed in unlimited quantities, automatic blanking free feeding troughs are often used. This feeding trough can not only ensure the cleanliness of the feed, but also reduce feed waste and satisfy the free feeding of pigs.

At present, the feeding method of dry powder and white water is mostly used in the pig industry, so the automatic feeding trough has shown advantages in the feeding of nursery pigs and growing and finishing pigs. After using the automatic blanking trough, labor productivity can be greatly improved.

The styles of automatic troughs are generally based on barrel troughs and stainless steel troughs. The unique feeding mode allows pigs to move the stopper only when they want to eat, automatically feeding, and cutting as they eat to reduce waste; The stainless steel pig trough has multiple gears and can adjust the feeding device at will, which is suitable for piglets, nursery pigs and fattening pigs, reducing capital investment.

2. Drinking water equipment

The drinking fountains commonly used in pig farms include duckbill type, nipple type and environmentally friendly drinking bowls, etc. Duckbill type Z is commonly used in my country because of its low cost. However, in actual use, the duckbill type has the shortcomings of serious waste of water and splashing around, which increases the sewage discharge of the pig house. Relatively speaking, the nipple type and stainless steel environmental protection drinking bowl are more cost-effective, although the nipple type anti-splash water nozzle is relatively Water-saving, but more water-saving is the stainless steel environmental protection water bowl, which is designed according to the drinking habits of pigs.

The environmentally friendly drinking bowl is deeper than ordinary water bowls, and pigs can clearly see the water. The built-in German silicone water nozzle for the water bowl can adjust the water output. The water nozzle is positioned lower, and the pig can move the water nozzle to discharge water. When the water in the bowl is drunk to a certain level, the water nozzle will be closed again, otherwise the water will block the pig's nose, so as to achieve the purpose of saving water.

According to research, the water saving rate of using environmentally friendly drinking bowls can reach about 90%, pigs can drink enough water, improve feed conversion rate, increase feed intake and shorten the time of slaughtering.

3. Column

As an indispensable breeding equipment for medium and large pig farms, there are mainly sow farrowing beds, nursery beds and limit bars, which can provide a clean and hygienic environment for sows and piglets, improve the survival rate of piglets, and reduce pig diseases. .

4. Heating equipment

Due to regional differences, pig farming in the north still lags behind that in the south in terms of scale and production level. Commonly used heating equipment are stove heating, heating heating, hot air heating and geothermal heating.

(1) Large furnace and fire wall for heating

It is a heating method commonly used by some medium and small pig farms in the north. This method has simple facilities, and the breeder can manage it directly. As long as it is operated on time, the temperature can be appropriately increased.

However, the temperature near the stove or the fire wall is high, and the temperature far from the stove is low, so it is difficult to solve the problem of the humidity of the pig house floor and the air. As the burning stove increases the amount of dust in the house, it pollutes the air in the house, and poses a threat to fire prevention and personal safety (soot poisoning).

(2) Heating for heating

It is a better heating method for large and medium-sized pig farms, especially for industrial pig raising. It is provided by the boiler room to supply heat to the pig house through pipes and radiators. Balanced heat supply throughout the house to keep pigs at a stable temperature and cleanliness. However, radiators or radiators are generally suspended under the window sill, and pigs often use it as an itching rack, which is easily damaged by pigs. This heating method still cannot solve the wet problem of the floor in the lying area, and the one-time investment is very large.

(3) Hot air heating

It is also a method adopted by large and medium-sized pig farms. It is the hot gas produced by the hot blast stove, and the hot gas is released to each containing space through the pipeline. It can quickly increase the temperature, but it is difficult to ensure a stable temperature in the house: it is hot when the air is released, and cool when the air is stopped, and the temperature in the house changes greatly.

(4) Geothermal heating

It is a heating method that dissipates heat from the boiler to the pigs lying on the ground through hard plastic pipes. This is the most respected method at present. It can be warm in winter and cool in summer. And the cost is not higher than heating heating.
